Pan-Seared Wild-Caught Salmon with Garlic Butter Sauce
Ingredients:
4 wild-caught salmon fillets
2 tablespoons olive oil
3 tablespoons unsalted butter
4 garlic cloves, minced
1 tablespoon fresh lemon juice
1 tablespoon fresh parsley, chopped
Salt and pepper to taste
Instructions:
Season the salmon fillets with salt and pepper.
Heat the olive oil in a large skillet over medium-high heat.
Place the salmon fillets skin-side down in the skillet and cook for 4-5 minutes, until the skin is crispy.
Flip the salmon and cook for an additional 2-3 minutes, until the salmon is just cooked through. Remove from the skillet and set aside.
In the same skillet, reduce the heat to medium and add the butter. Once melted, add the minced garlic and sauté for 1-2 minutes until fragrant.
Stir in the lemon juice and parsley, then return the salmon fillets to the skillet, spooning the garlic butter sauce over them.
Serve the salmon with a side of rice or quinoa and a fresh green vegetable.
